Last weekend I was invited to a wedding ceremony in Kisoroszi the tip of Szentendre island up by the Danube bend. We took this ferry, before this we were on a tram, a local train, and a bus. Perfect trip for those who like to try out as many means of transport possible in a day.
First thing I saw on the island was this cool gate.
People more used to wild life were camping. Other people that is, not me.
On the Friday we said good bye to Mark’s dog Jocsó. He’s now swimming down the Danube after a stick. Forever. I cried.
The night ended by the fire place with some drinks and BBQ. Around 11 it was time to try and find our little pension walking through the darkness. At this point I wasn’t so happy about not camping. Until I was in my comfortable bed that is. The wedding ceremony gets a blog post on its own.
Here I am with my sister Camilla, her boyfriend Alex, and Nicole at Szimpla kert having a drink. Reading the names of people who probably had more than one drink before they started writing on the walls.
Bullet had a drink too.
Yearly sister photo for the family album. When we get old and half blind it wont matter how blurry. Okay I hope none of us will be half blind.
Now it’s Friday and time to fuck off on new adventures.
What are you doing this weekend?
I’m going to a place not so far away and a ferry is involved. If the ferry takes me back home again I promise to post some pictures. If not I’m sorry to give you the finger as my last picture. (Of course it wont be the last)
Budapest’s a great place for those who like to hang around in artsy places. Now there’s one more to add to your list, The Painters Palace on Bródy Sándor. Here are some pictures from the opening last Saturday. Jesse above is one of the founders. If you’re a founder you get flowers.
There were stairs. Only one person fell down. He got up again.
Skirt/Vintage, Sandals/ Skopunkten
Candles. No one was burnt.
A band played
People were dancing
More dancing and holding hands
Pointing fingers. This is Thom the other founder. He had no flowers but looked happy anyway.
