Skeleton Passage

IMG_0945bI went to an opening at the Puccs gallery last week. There were skeletons, wiener schnitzels and beer. It all makes sense when the artists are from Austria, or wait, maybe just 2 things out of 3 do. I’m no sure about the connection to skeletons and it’s probably better that way.

It was the last day wearing a skirt without tights this year. So I did. It could’ve also been the last time this year ignoring a skeleton. From now on I promise not to ignore any skeletons (unless someone tells me a really freaky story about Austrians having a weird connection to them), at least until new year’s.

Screaming friends in the mirror. are harder to ignore, since they attack from two sides.

After all that drama I went to see a Norwegian guy who didn’t want to die in den Haag. It felt good knowing he probably doesn’t have to.

A couple of songs later he was diggin’ it and den Hague was not on his mind anymore. After all his name was Passage, Lasse Passage. Who stays in a passage. Not even den Haag.

Permanent marks

IMG_0702bLiving in a city like Budapest one tends to forget how much history there is around. Once in a while you see things that remind you that this city wasn’t built yesterday. Th either day I went down to the Danube on my lunch break and found something amazing!

IMG_0711bImagine what this rock has seen through the years. For example it must’ve seen the person who invented the first permanent marker, and that’s quite cool.

Fishy, foxy, bananas

takA week ago I was invited to go see the Barber from Seville. It was years ago since I saw an opera and in honor of that I stayed awake during the whole performance which is a great achievement from someone like me. However I did fall asleep every night this week in front of every series I watched so no worries for those who know me. I still have it in me, the ability to always miss a part from whatever I’m watching.

operaStill awake, ok this is in the break and I had just had a coke to make sure I could make it through the other half.

Knowing how many dangers I was to encounter later that evening one might think my subconscious kept me awake.

hummerFirst threat was a gigantic hummer let loose on the streets.

IMG_0374Second was this man and his foxes inviting for a cocktail.

IMG_0403Third were these snakes that had been in my ears all night, I’m lucky they were more in to bananas.

IMG_0373Good thing I wore black so I could hide in the shadows, I mean in the toilet.

Timbuktu took the ship by storm

This weekend has been quite good even if Im still recovering from all kinds of health issues. Nothing too serious, and in any case I assume its better for all if I leave the details out. One thing that has been helping me recover was the concert  I went to on Friday at A38. Timbuktu was amazing live. Lots of dancing and shouting definitely the best concert for a very long time.

Timbuktu in action.

Someone else wanted to get some other action probably got disappointed when noticing the little package was missing.
This night gets 2 thumbs up and silly smiles from both me and Karin.
